If you go to BestBuyCares.com and leave a comment with the word “innuendo” used in a sentence and my name, I get a free lunch. (a receipt is needed)
^But don’t say in it that I told you to do that, make it look legit. (and let me know if you actually do it)^
WOTD: distant adj. 1. having a gap or space between; seperated 2. widely seperated; far apart in space or time 3. at a measured interval; away 4. far apart in relationship; remote 5. cool in manner; aloof; reserved 6. from or at a distance 7. faraway and dreamy
If I were to describe myself I would use numbers 5 and 7 the most.
So today was much better than yesterday. I went to work and did my job without too many problems and came home and put on my pajamas and chilled. I’ve done most of my research for my speech tomorrow and just have to make an outline, powerpoint, and some notecards. (Which I plan on doing as soon as I’m finished with this.)
I love TV shows (you can feel free to buy me a TIVO for Christmas, because I am definitely in need of one). Lately I’ve been keeping up to date with Heroes, Chuck, and The Office. NBC has really got a hold on me this year it seems. The other networks will strike back in early 2008 with Lost and 24, and hopefully a couple other new shows will be worth watching. My only complaints to TV are these:
1. Commercials are annoying. I understand their necessity (or well, they made sense when getting TV was free and ads payed for everything, but prices keep rising I guess…), but they’re still annoying. I do love that the shows are available online with limited commercial interruption now, though, because that is incredibly awesome. I always seem to be at work or school whenever a show I want to watch is on.
2. I really don’t like waiting a week for the next installment. Especially for super crazy plotted shows like Heroes and Lost. But again, I’ll survive because I’ll go and buy them on DVD when they come out and watch the whole season in like three days. (Which I did for the first season of Heroes, my record being 12 episodes in one day. At approximately 42 minutes per episode that is about 8.4 hours. Hooray for me being a loser!)
I apparently am getting a lower and lower word count every time I post, but I’ve posted every day so far, and nobody reads this anyway, so I guess I won’t complain.
Good night.

I brought my laptop to store 1062 to the geek squad for some personal attention and met STEVE. He very politely solved all the problems I was having and explained the solutions in a language I could understand. There were no innuendos made as to my age or lack of knowledge in the computer. I left the store feeling a lot better than when I went in. Thank you very much Steve

On 6/2/08 I purchased a new Nikkon digital camera.
The sales person Mi Mi, was just GREAT.
She was very helpful. She supplied just the right amount of personal attention and information about the product that I needed.
Thank you Mi Mi.

We were having trouble with out month old HD tv last Friday. We were frustrated and Comcast said they wouldn’t come out for 5 days. We were not getting a picture and they were not giving us any satisfaction or help. When we called the Geek Squad from the Best Buy in Downers Grove, IL, they made the time to come out and help us with the problem. They even managed to get us reception until we get a new box from Comcast. We really appreciated their kindness and prompt service. Thanks Mike and his fellow worker!
