What I learned this weekend…

WOTD: Snowboarding: v. A sport involving having your feet strapped to a wooden plank, trying to stay balanced, while sliding down an icy mountain. This generally involves falling down a lot while watching everyone around you succeed completely at their attempts.

So I’m not very good at snowboarding, having now both skied and snowboarded, I can say that skiing is easier, and next time I go to the top of a mountain, that’s probably how I’ll get back down to the bottom.

I also learned that when I’m hiding behind words, screens, and miles, (even without alcohol) I am much more willing to speak my mind and say how I feel. I now just wish I could learn how to transfer this confidence over into real life, and tell people what I’m thinking and what I feel face to face. Chances of that actually happening? Low, at the highest…

And despite the fact that I had intended to write more, I don’t really have anything to write.

I don’t know what to say or who to say it to…
