So my latest Web 2.0 not-quite-obsession has been Twitter. I still Stumble from time to time and I still go on Experience Project for usually at least a bit a day, but the best thing about Twitter is that unlike either of those other two, and most, Web 2.0 sensations is that it’s not time consuming. The way it works is that you have 140 characters to say whatever it is you want to say, generally what you’re doing, or even if you just had a random thought or anything. You can also “tweet” from your phone via text message. Its social networking aspects come in where you can add your friends and eStalk them. Which I think is pretty cool, because estalking is not nearly as creepy as real life stalking.
So yeah, start tweeting! Add me as a friend, too, and stalk me online and such. Also, check out twhirl. Twhirl is a freeware app that I found through eD!. It lets you tweet from your desktop no matter what kind of fanboy you are, Apple or Microsoft! It is pretty excellent and makes it a lot easier to keep up with all the people you are stalking as you get real time updates popping up on your desktop.
And that’s how I feel about Twitter.
The end.
